We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid accounting foundation who is ready to take ownership of core accounting functions and grow within the organization.

This is a direct hire role. On-Site in Woodbury, MN. 8-4:30 hours. $65-$75k.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and post journal entries, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and income statement accounts)
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Identify process improvements and assist with implementation of accounting best practices
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
